A World of Joy

I refuse to dwell
in fear, instead creating
a world of Joy, Love

Inspiration

It’s probably easy to guess the inspiration behind my haiku. Overwhelmingly, there are more and more things to be afraid of and have deep concerns about. They seem to be growing daily and with little hope for the foreseeable future.

It’s easy for me to stay in a place of despair, but I also know the power of not staying stuck. I’m choosing, as best as I can, to be in Joy and Love. For me, it’s not about being ignorant or sticking my head in the sand (but, boy do I want to!). It’s about the inspiration, empowerment, and healing of Joy and Love. It’s about the power of spreading Joy and Love to help create a more Peaceful world - inner and outer.

I love to share what makes my heart sing. One of my greatest joys and ways of healing is reading and sharing picture books. I love to connect with Beautiful souls and hearts. I love to laugh. I love to create with words, photographs, colored pencils, paper, and my heart. I love my family and friends and the big, wide world with all its Wonder and Beauty. And you are part of that Wonder and Beauty! Thank you for BEing!

*Please note - I’m finding that commenters are not receiving email notifications when I’ve commented back on something they wrote. I’ve also noticed and received feedback that commenters are not able to “like/heart” a comment. I’ve been told by Squarespace that these issues are being worked on. Thank you for your patience and understanding with these things! It’s not as convenient, but you can always peek back at the comments to see if there has been any new activity, especially on your own comments.
